Nate Marquez Nate is a Mechanical Engineering Student who spends his free time rock climbing, playing volleyball, or gaming. He currently holds a job at Propel Labs as an Engineering Intern. As an intern he applies his technical knowledge to improve the verification and inspection of incoming machined parts that are integrated into the Yeti Cell Analyzer. |

Seth Purkey Knowing how things work has been a blessing and a curse ever since I was little. When not tearing things apart I enjoy being outside, playing sports of any kind, and being with others. I’ve enjoy working at Wolf Robotics through my college experience and often get sucked into projects of all kinds. Tall, quirky, creative about sums it up. |

Mitchell Yohanan I am a senior mechanical engineering student with a minor in business administration and will be graduating in May 2017. Last summer I was fortunate enough to have an internship with Medtronic, a medical device company in Boulder Colorado. During my internship, I performed reliability tests on patient monitoring devices to help develop more dependable products. I enjoy many aspects of engineering and hope to build a career in this field upon graduation. |

Philip Meister Hailing from Wyoming, my interests in electrical engineering started while working for Automation Electronics in the IBEW JATC apprenticeship out of Casper, WY. My personal interests include kayaking, computers, complaining, and precision butchering of the English Language. Most of my time seems to be spent working; my down time seems also be spent working: primarily in power systems and control systems. |
|
Chris Mclean I am a senior in the ECE dpeartment at CSU and plan on graduating in the fall term of 2017. My area of interest is in power systems and control systems. I spend most of my free time exercising and being outdoors. |
|
Jordan Lankford Jordan is a senior in electrical engineering and will graduate in December 2017. His interests include power systems and VLSI design. In his free time, Jordan enjoys being outdoors and spending time with family and friends. |

Robert Loughrey I am a senior in Computer Engineering and will be graduating in May 2017. I currently intern for HP Inc. where I work in the R&D Lab, and Material Sciences Lab. I was born and raised in Anchorage, AK, and enjoy spending my free time outdoors and exploring new areas. I look forward to graduation and to continue to build upon my knowledge in Software and Electronics Engineering. |

Brett Gonzales Brett is a senior Electrical Engineering student expected to graduate in May 2017. Outside of school he enjoys spending time with his wife, playing video games, math, and experiencing all things life has to offer. He has previously been involved in the NASA Space Grant rover competition and hopes to bring that knowledge with him to the Robosub competition. He hopes to one day work as either an RF or control systems engineer, and after retiring: become a math teacher. He looks forward to learning more about Engineering and Math through the course of his career. |
Junior Team |

Marta Camacho I am a Junior in Electrical Engineering at Colorado State University. My interests lie in power distribution and systems integration. I chose to be part of the propulsion sub team so I can see how different components can work together to achieve a task. I enjoy circuit design and the testing process, success is rewarding but I’ve learned much more from my failures. When I’m not doing homework, projects or school in general, I love to spend time with my sisters of Alpha Sigma Kappa – Women in technical studies, running with my dog or catching up on Game of Thrones. |
|
Oren Pierce I am a Junior in the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department at CSU. I spend 5 years in the Marine Corps, and decided that higher education was the best thing for the next chapter of my life. My interests in ECE are broad, but I am mainly interested in topics in Electromagnetics and Computer Vision. Upon graduation, I hope to begin a career in one of these fields. In my spare time, I enjoy weight lifting, backpacking, camping, fishing, and skiing. I also spend as much time as I can with family and friends. |
|
Billy Phillips I am a junior in electrical engineering. I am very interested in circuit design and programming. This is why I chose the sensor team, so I would be able to learn more about my interests and learn how to apply them to real world applications. My hobbies include hiking, fishing, and relaxing with friends and family. |

Kaitie Wood I am a freshman majoring in Biomedical and Electrical Engineering. I enjoy building and designing objects and machines to perform certain tasks. I also enjoy learning new ways to go about designing and solving problems. Specifically, I am very interested in Proteotronics and tissue engineering. My hobbies include reading, using power tools, and appreciating outdoor Colorado. |
Graduate Student Advisers |
|
---|---|
Megan Emmons Megan is a PhD student in the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department at Colorado State University. She is also chair of the Student Activities Committee for the IEEE Robotics and Automation Society. Her research interest focuses on multi-agent robotic systems, specifically on control algorithms within the swarm and how to correlate local interactions with the emergent behavior. When not staring at a computer screen or playing with robots, Megan can be found soaking in the sun – either by climbing a rock face, hiking in the mountains, or riding a bike! |
|
Chris Robbiano Chris is a graduate student in the College of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Colorado State University. After his undergraduate studies, Chris worked in the storage and networking industry as a digital designer. In his free time, Chris likes to play music, ski, mountain bike and enjoy the outdoors. |
